LKSL Groups - Archive


From 2013 to 2015 the HEE Library and Knowledge Service Leads had working groups that focussed on key development areas and reported back to the library leads. There is a diagram showing the structure.

The groups were wound down in March 2015 as part of the remodeling of HEE LKSL working groups to match the core themes of Knowledge for Healthcare

The LKS Leads had five working groups with 2 sub-groups:

Content and Collections Development

Role: Management and development of the national portfolio of electronic resources

Sub-groups:

Expert Test and Review Group

Role: Expert trainers and searchers’ test and review group

National OpenAthens Administrators Group (NARAG)

Role: OpenAthens Administrators’ Group

Staff Development

Role: Development of library staff capacity and capability

Service Development

Role: Improvement, innovation and impact of library/knowledge services

Consumer Health Information (CHI)

Role: Support for library/knowledge services staff providing information to patients and the public

Information Management and Technology Group (IMTG)

Role: ICT infrastructure and policy issues impacting on access to content and delivery of library/knowledge services
