NLH Content & Collections Development Group

The National Library for Health Content and Collections Development Group (2007-2009) was developed to bring together health content acquisition and procurement activity. The Group comprised of representatives from the SHAs, the National Library for Health and NHS Trusts, together with representatives from NLH partners.

Its role was to:

  • co-ordinate national content procurement activity

  • acquire health knowledge content appropriate for all sections of the health and social care workforce (including students on placement)

  • ensure the efficient and effective management of the programme and realisation of benefits

  • make operational and budget management decisions.

The group produced an operational plan for 2008-09.

Minutes of the meetings from 2007-2009 are available as a .zip file.

The work of this group was continued by the SHALL Content and Collections Development Group (2009-2013) and then the HEE LKSL Conten and Collections Group (2013-15).
