The purpose of the NLH Technical Design Authority Group (TDAG) was to provide leadership on the integration of library and knowledge systems (and related processes), to better enable library services to exploit technologies to deliver the benefits of the National Library for Health (NLH).

  • To create, publish and maintain an Enterprise Architecture (EA) as a controlled document

  • To make recommendations on proposed services referred to, or identified by the TDAG, in respect to the EA

  • To provide leadership in implementation of the EA at the regional and local level

  • To develop partnerships with local IM&T services in order to propagate best practice

  • To gather innovations from the library community and end users to inform the EA

  • To communicate the EA and its objectives to all relevant stakeholders

  • To consider Informatics issues outside the remit of the EA.
