Workforce Planning and Development WG


Purpose:

A strategic Working Group to lead on and be responsible for the success and delivery of the workforce planning and development work-stream derived from HEE’s Knowledge for Healthcare development framework for NHS library and knowledge services in England 2015 – 2020

The goal is to achieve effective leadership, planning and development of the Library and Knowledge Service workforce by: 

  • Providing effective national and LETB-level leadership

  • Redesigning library and knowledge service staff roles to meet changing service needs

  • Developing an appropriately skilled knowledge services workforce

  • Ensuring effective talent management of the whole knowledge services workforce.
